Albert Cheng is a professor at the Department of Education Reform at the University of Arkansas, where he teaches courses in education policy and philosophy. His research focuses on virtue formation and school choice. He is a Cardus Senior Fellow, an affiliated fellow at Harvard University’s Program on Education Policy and Governance, and a board member of Anthem Classical Academy in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, he became a high school math teacher. He later completed his graduate studies in education policy at Biola University and the University of Arkansas.
